Nobody is more supportive of TiVo than me.I have had one from Day
One(literally) but no company will continue to support a product
infinitem without an income stream.In the end TiVo will have to stop
supporting the UK for the good of its shareholders. It's a shame but
there it is.

Shouldn't that be "only us Sky+ subscribers who already pay at least 40 quid a
month don't pay that any more"

That's because Sky finally realised that Sky+ is a poor imitation of
TiVo. :-)

Not really, because if a TiVo subscriber wants to watch/record Sky
Sports for example, they still have to pay....
