Sky+ Offer to waive £10 monthly fee

I noticed in my Sky magazine that Sky do appear to have answered
the question that a lot of us have been asking, i.e. if Sky waive the
fee for Sky+ for people with 2 or more premium channels, then
what happens on November 1st when Sky Movies Premier and
Sky Movies Max are re-branded as Sky Movies? Does this mean that
the movie channels only count as one premium channel so effectively
the Sky+ offer is only available to Sky World (Movies + Sport)
subscribers?

Well, I think the answer is in the footnotes of the Sky+ advert on the
inside front cover of the November magazine. They actually say this
about the rebranding: "(From 1 November, Sky Movies Premier will
become Sky Movies 1 and Sky Movies Max will become Sky Movies
2.)". That seems to me to answer the question very clearly, Movies
will still count as two premium channels, assuming you took Premier
and Max previously, because you will now take Movies 1 and Movies
2. Phew!
