Hope you have more luck than me -

two failed installations already......

1st one - the installer played "knock and run" and buggered off before
I could answer the door. Then lied and said I hadn't been in (I was, I
work from home)

2nd one - turned up without the right kit to install - needs a long
SDS drill bit to drill through the walls of our stone built house.

I've had it for three weeks, fantastic facilities, changed the way I
watch TV like it said it would. Big downside though, and I'm
considering whether to ditch it, is the poor picture quality. I've a
100Hz widescreen TV which is great with my old Panasonic Sky box, but
the Pace Sky+ box isn't as good and picture quality suffers. So weigh
that up against what you are getting, 5.1 sound, pause live TV. No
problems with 50hz tv though.

Have fun

Argh! I hate reading these installation nightmare type posts when I'm
expecting it to be installed on the 28th!

Please say there are some here who have had pleasent install
experiences!

Mine went OK :-)

My brother, on the hand, had the guy refuse to go onto the roof cos he
thought that access to location of the dish (he was upgrading an
existing installation - was dangerous. (it was above a conservatory).

My brother pointed out that the installer was the same guy who had put
there in the first place, and the conservatory was there at the time.
He still wouldn't do it and he had to wait 3 weeks until they sent out
another team who would handle it
