Sounds as if you already have the best one.

but when I
move I may go for the new box at new address routine.

Fraud, you mean.

no sanctimonious ****., I bought my first box for cash, nearly £200 PLUS
installation costs so I haven't ever had a connection and box for £1. don't
judge others as if they were yourself.

There isn't much difference these days. I like the Pace 2600. The
latest Panasonics feel a bit light and plasticky. The Thomson is too
square. The Amstrad is OK. Functionality is the same.

Then you'll get what you're given anyway.

Also is there anywhere
to buy sky+ plus boxes other than sky at £200 or eBay ?

Most dealers have them. Also the high street shops.
