No probs there... does that mean I have to connect that AND the 2nd on to the phone line now?! Yes both boxes need to be connected to the same line and present the same CLI. -- Hiram Hackenbacker |

Yes both boxes need to be connected to the same line and present the same CLI. Well that sucks. What happens if you don't? First you'll get warning letters from Sky. If you don't fix it, they'll charge you full price for the extra subscription, instead of the reduced £10/£15. |

What happens if you don't? Letters, phone calls and then they charge you full price on the second card. Failing that, where do I send the extra card back to in order to withdraw this extra subscription? Sky customer services, where you ordered it from. -- Hiram Hackenbacker |

Oh well, looks like I'll have to call Sky and get that card converted to a full subscription one. Is that easy to do for them? Alex. |

Now the terms and conditions say that BOTH boxes have to be connected to the phone line, and that I have to keep the extra sub card for 12 months. Before I venture into the 12 month thing, a few questions if I may. First, I've never connected my original box to the phone line, because it was bought second hand without this requirement. No probs there... does that mean I have to connect that AND the 2nd on to the phone line now?! Yes. |
