Help with FTV Card

Hi, I moved house in July and had a brand new installation fitted - no
problems. I had retained my original Sony box (from old house) with its'
dark blue series 2 card.

I had promised to give it to my parents who receive poor analogue reception.

I have just tried testing it - I can only receive the FTA channels - BBC1,2
and others, but no ITV, Ch4 or 5.

Is there something I need to do to get it to find these channels?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Try leaving the receiver on with the card in it for at least 24 hours.
My son had this problem and it went away given time.

If the stations are on the EPG then they will probably decode after less
than 24 hours. If they do not appear on the EPG then probably you did not
activate the card at the time. I have this problem and I can still receive
the three stations using the add channel function

Out of interest, what message are you getting on ITV1 etc? I've just
fired up a Digibox tonight that I know hasn't been used for a few months
and I have the same problem. I get 'ITV makes compelling blah blah...
Call the broadcaster to upgrade your subscription blah'.

TIA

Whoa, the channels have cleared themselves now! I'll be more patient
next time!

thx
