Count yourself lucky...

Set Sky+ to tape the 10PM showing and it only got the first 10 minutes. No
clash, planner said 'Recorded'. I got suspicious when it had only used 1%
and decided to check before I got the beers in etc. Just as well.

First time Sky+ has ever cut off a program without a 'Clashed' or 'Partial'
warning.

Anyone else?

P.S. Any NG search that stumbles on this, don't get me wrong, 99% of the
time Sky+ is plucking good, and was worth it even before they dropped they
£10 a month.

10pm showing started the same, then not far in the sound went for a few
seconds and came back with the dialogue.

Strange and not really satisfactory.

I started recording once the dialogue was there - watched it on Sunday and
it ended after 67 mins.

Not impressed.

Like you, there was no clash.

Should we be making a nuisance of ourselves with Sky or are these known
problems?

Did anyone else notice a time diference between when they set the film to
record and when it actualy did record
I ask because i set my sky+ box to record it at 10:00 however after reading
about the problems in thia newsgroup i went to try and view it only to find
only 1 min was recorded at that at 01:30 the next morning ie the repeat showing
odd!
or did sky know there was a problem and remotely reset my box????????

Perhaps we should all inundate sky with emails of complaint

Same thing happened with the sound on From Hell a few weeks ago. Dialog
intermittently cut out for at least 10 seconds at a time.
