Europe attacks Sky football deal

Even if, for example, BBC and ITV put forward a shared bid, that would fall through over such issues as who gets to show which matches. The other possible solution - allowing each club to sell/market it's own matches - would be difficult to produce even if every club was equally popular, but that isn't even the reality. Of course, an American-owned ITV might put up a better fight. -- Carl |
