New Sky + Offer

I've been out of the country for several weeks, and have just come back to read
the new Sky+ offer of a box minus the subscription.

What I couldn't quite make out, was whether or not the offer is contingent upon
my taking out a mirror subscription on my existing digibox, which I don't want.
The shiftless nirk on customer service wasn't sure either.

Could someone set me straight on this please? If the question's already been
asked, I apologise, but I'm not up to speed with this NG at the moment.

Cheers.

If you subscribe to two or more premium channels the Sky+ sub is free - no
need to have a mirror subscription.

Spot on, I rang SKY today (got through in 10 seconds) and upgraded from
the Family pack to SKYworld, the CS rep actually told me without prompting
that as a SKY+ user the fee would now be waived as long as I maintained
at least two premium channels.

A surprising burst of competence from Sky CS. Let's hope this continues. :)

Thank you Janice. I get all the movie and sport channels, so that'll be fine!
