I am currently on the family pack (18 pounds) and I have Sky+. I

understand
the Sky+ subscription is / will be abolished if you have a premium

channel.
So does this lead to the paradoxial situation that I can upgrade to a

movies
package (28 pounds) for 'free'?

I think you have to get both movie channels at a cost of £33.

yup. they only waive the sky+ fee if you have 2 or more premium
channels.

and the sky movies merge into one soon, wonder what happens then?

To be pedantic, the statement I've seen and confirmed by Sky is that your
viewing package has to be £30 or greater to qualify. I think to acheive
this you have to subscribe to at least 2 premium channels so it amounts to
what you guys are saying.

Cheers,

Nigel

To be pedantic back, the wording doesn't mention 30 at all - it says
you must subscribe to more than one premium sport or movie channel

:-)
