All in one 5.1 systems

I recently bought a 2nd hand Acoustic Energy Aego P5 for the bedroom, and am
thoroughly impressed with the thing. My dad now wants one too, but I'm keen
to know if there are any alternatives worthy of consideration.

The Aego really is great, but the cheapest I can find online is £320 (rrp
£500) Would something like this Sony come close? It has the advantage of
DPL2, but if it's tinny and crap in comparison it's clearly a false economy.

Anybody here got any first hand experience of these things?

TIA

Andy

OK, I'm not a Sony speaker fan, and it's unlikely that the amp will do
anywhere near that power. And prologic II is kind of not something that
interests me... so I would be more likely to go for something like this...

Thanks for that, but I don't need the integrated DVD player, and could use a
couple of other inputs for video & freeview...

Really the Aego is an amazing piece of kit, it sounds way better than I
thought it would. Not looking for a drop in quality - just price. :-)

I have the HTK25 which the 250 superceeded, and it really does sound great.
However, my HTK25 died exactly 1 year after I bought it! Luckily it was
*just* still in warranty and was repaired without problems.
