Avoid QED!!!!!!!!!!!!
 

I just had to report my experience of ordering some speakers from QED.
They took the money from my credit card instantly - then after a few days they
emailed to say they have posted the speakers - and to expect delivery next day
and still after a few days - no speakers - the couriers said nthe delivery does
not exist! QED do NOT answer emails they DO take your money and after several
national rate calls with ridiculous queues I eventually got them to agree a
refund!

They have no customer service whatsoever.

IIRC with credit card sales there is a legal restriction on their ability
to debit the card until they actually are in the process of displatching
the goods. Thus you may find it worthwhile if annoyed with them to phone
your credit card company and lodge a complaint. It may be that they have
acted illegally.

I'm not a lawyer, though, so don't know the precise details of their legal
obligations.

in this newsgroup via google groups archive,
but found them to be perfect and cheap.

You've almost tempted me to try QED,
as they're selling the remote control I'd like the cheapest.
