Connecting Optical Devices and Toshlink to Coax Convertors
Sorry if this has been asked before.
I need to hook up several audio opitical devices (x-box, ps2, sky+) into one optical input on my receiver (only 1 of these devices is ever used at one time). Is there some kind of box/device (similiar to a multi scart box) that will allow me to do that? + does anyone have any experience using Toshlink - Coax convertors? thanks bobby |
Hello Bobby
It may be overkill but the Zektor HDS4 does everything you require (4 In 1 Out and Optical/Coaxial conversion) and as a bonus its also a very high quality video switch. See http://www.zektor.com We have our first shipment of UK spec units arriving mid Jan and the HDS4 will be around £260.00. For a review with a 'Gamers' perspective see http://gear.ign.com/articles/452/452...html?fromint=1 Best regards Joe |

You can simply "wire or" the signals together. So all you need is a kind of mirrored tube arrangement with one output - [----------------\ == ]________ == ] L---------------/ |
