Cable has improved vastly in the past 5 years. Customer complaints have fallen
and customer satifaction has risen. Not that I am going back but they are more competitive now. |

Many cable systems want more money for less channels than DBS
True but you can have cable in every room of your home while you have to pay $5 a month for each satellite box. So if you are a home with children, cable has the advantage. |

So if you are a home with children, cable has the advantage. Analog cable only. For digital cable, you need a cable box in these rooms, at a cost of $2-$5 per month. And some cable systems limit the number of digital cable boxes per household (to as low as two in some cases.) |

If you are talking crappy analog cable, sure. But you can have that. "Crappy" analog? As compared to overcompressed digital? Heh, I'll take my "crappy" analog any day. |

wash. That is only if you want FULL cable in each room. Most people don't care for putting HBO and PPV in children's TV rooms. You can have basic in every room for free. |

Around here analogue cable looks pretty good. |
