Weird TiVo Happenings

I came home and turned on my DirecTV/DVR (TiVo) a SAT-T60 unit.....the
little "TiVo Man" in the animated startup sequence began. This does not
usually happen unless a power failure occurs. But no power failure
occurred as none of my standard VCR's had a blinking clock stuck on
0:00.
Upon investigating further,I found that the error message that read
"Acquiring Data From The Satellite.Partial Data Now,Full Data in 1-2
Days" that has been present for 8 MONTHS (!!!) was now GONE! In
addition, all the channel icons that were missing in the "Now Playing
List" (the little channel symbols to the right of the program
descriptions) were now BACK (!) after being missing for over a year.
AND WORST OF ALL,3 of my "GREEN BALLED" programs (programs that were
not to be deleted until I deleted them) were also missing.
And weirder yet,the entry remote codes to restore the 30 second "skip"
and the code to organize the playing list files by date or alphabetical
order NOW NO LONGER WORKS..........does anyone have any idea what is
gong on here?

You might have the new "c" software update.

I had the same thing with the little Tivo man, but didnt lose any saved
programs. I do notice that the song titles on the music channels dont stay
on much longer than a min or 2. It used to stay on much longer before
disappearing.

The remote control Clear button will remove title details immediately.
The Display/Info button will bring the details back.
