New Software for Pioneer DVR-810H
 

Folks, there is new software available of the pixel problem that plagues
the Pioneer DVR-810H. The new version is 5.2.2-01-2-275. I got my
Pioneer unit to aquire it by forcing a connection to Tivo. After the
download was complete the on-screen instructions told me to restart my
unit. After I did the pixel problem was gone! If you have any of the
Pioneer DVR recordered with built in Tivo you need this update.

How Do I know the version of software on my unit ? I bought one last
week and except for the extremely high quality setting, I seem to see
grains on all other settings

Look in the System Information screen. I believe 5.2.2 is current.
If you don't have that, you're box will probably upgrade in a few days
as it calls home.
