Photos and Video - ARGGHH!

I remember having a hell of a time setting this up in the first place,
but now its really screwed.

I have Windows XP SP2.

I have punched port holes in/disabled entirely all firewalls and
norton, even uninstalled Lavasoft products after reading about an
issue - still my TiVo2's cannot see my TiVo Desktop server. Checked
and double-checked IP address, tried everything I have read in the
forums, etc, with no luck.

I will try calling TiVo but have heard their support for this is
completely useless.

Any advice?

Do you have any VPN software on your PC? I use a VPN once it has been
started my local network is invisible until I reboot (disconnecting from the
VPN is not enough).

While in the state where your local network is "invisible", what does your
local routing table look like?

Open a CMD prompt (START--RUN--cmd[ENTER])

Type the command "route print" to see your current routing table. Pipe it
to a text file if necessary (add " c:\route.txt" to the end of the command
line and it's output will be found in the file specified)

Also, try a non-persistent route while in that state to see if you can now
see local entities. While in the same CMD prompt, assuming your network is
192.168.1.xx and your current IP address of the PC is 192.168.1.100... Type
"route add 192.168.1.0 mask 255.255.255.255 192.168.1.100" and hit enter.
Then try finding something on your local network.
