2 TIVO's in the house, how does that work?
If I get another TIVO, so that I'll have the parent lock, programming,
etc. on both of the TV's in my home ...how does that work? What do I need to know for hooking both up at once, the subscription, etc.? |

What do I need to know for hooking both up at once, the subscription, etc.? The two TiVos operate independently. Each will have its own settings for parental locks. Each has its own "Now Playing" list and Season Passes. Standalone TiVo: Same as connecting up a second television; hook up the second unit to cable-TV or antenna. Second unit will require its own monthly subscription or lifetime subscription. DirecTiVo combo: Additional receiver is $5/month for DirecTV programming, no charge for TiVo functionality. Best deal is to get a DirecTV package, which includes free installation. -Joe |
