Remote code for Yamaha AVR
 

Hi,

I tried configuring a Tivo remote to turn on a Sony TV and a Yamaha
HTR-5550 AVR at the same time and have the Tivo volume control adjust
the AVR valume. The Tivo remote works fine with the Sony TV but I
can't find any code that will let me control the AVR volume. Two of
the Yamaha modes let me turn the AVR on and off but none of them
control the volume. Does anyone have a similar setup and can
recommend a solution? Thanks

I have a 5250 and I can control the volume but not on off. My 5250 remote no
longer works so volume was a high priorty for me. i don't recall which code
worked but it did not take to long to find it. It must have been a one of the
first ones
