SideCar 905 - Question by
mcarlo
Hi,
I would like to know if you get the HBO and CineMax channels for free
with the SideCar,
even if you don't pay for the analog? Some one told me that.
Thanks.

General feed question: by
J999w
For a promo feed, or any short feed, how are the satelite and transponder
picked. These are usually so fleeting, by the time you catch them, they're
signing off.
So how do they pick the transponder? Do they poke around, find an open one,
then call on the phone saying where they are going to...

Does Analog rcvr have to on at 2am w/ 905? by
Valdivar
I've had a sidecar for a while now and I always notice that when I turn
it all on first thing in the morning to see what's on that day, that the
light goes from red to green.Fair enough,as I realize it doesn't lock
onto the data stream right away.
Seems ok,but I still have these questions in the...

Losing more channels in CBand land? by
foobar
I've noticed now that FXM and several west coast feeds of popular
channels are announcing their departure.
I've really enjoyed my analog CBand system for the last 6 or 7 years
but things are getting a tad skimpy.
Is it worth considering upgrading to add add'l features like:

Hey, has anyone here seen the College Television Network feed? This is from

Thanks!

FYI how I repaired my rotator by

Yeah they are only $30 or so but I don't know where to get any cband
stuff any more besides mail order like skyvision.
I had been behind my receiver the other day trying to add a -6db
attenuator to my coax feed for local off the air broadcasts. When I
watch cband via ch 3 transponder the local ch4...

Line of Fire Gone Also? by

MrFeeds1 gave the feed location and time for the Line of Fire pilot (11/30
SU 2000 G4/17), but now Vidiot says that it feeds MO 1400 Fiber. Is this
true? It didn't feed tonight on G4/17. If so it makes me wonder what the
point is of posting feed times (on Vidiot) for feeds that cannot be...

Qeustion about 36" Primestar dish by
Jason Smith
I was wondering if an old Primestar dish, modded with a c/ku lnb/feed
and movable, might be able to lock onto any Cband digitals. If so what
birds? I was thinking about giving it a shot just for fun and wondered
if anyone has ever done this.

Is anyone else having problems with T6-8 .. PBS-X by
Clark Kent
PBS-X on T6-8 came through perfectly until a couple of days ago. Now it is
unwatchable most of the time. The other transponders on T6 are fine but PBS
is bad.
It looks as though G3C-9 is interfering with it. In fact, it appears to me
as though the uplink dish is aimed improperly and the uplink is...
