Freeview is better than Analogue even with a poor aerial by zzapper
Hi, I hesitated to get Freeview for a year, because I feared that I'd have to pay for a new aerial because C5 was very poor, c4 poor, only BBCs & ITV1 were any good on the old analogue. Anyway I finally plunged and bought the Phillips £99 decoder DTR1500 from Tesco. The Freeview pictures are...

Perpetual motion? by Mat Overton
Tonight as I sat in the office Hil came in with the bulb out of the oven. Would I look in the CPC book and find her a new one? The bulb is a 25W mini screw fitting. The nearest one in the CPC book is on page 1464, but the glass envelope on our old bulb is slightly thinner and longer....

Crap Channels 2 by John
Yes . I quite agree with some of you . If you pay for Sky you get better crap . With Freeview you just get crap . But seriously would it not be possible to have a reasonable channel selection ? When I have seen Sky , apart from some movies and sports , most of it is old programmes that have been...

Freeview via NTL wall box? by James Enrita
I've recently moved in to a new flat. The previous owners had had NTL installed although this has since been disconnected and I have no intention of signing up to NTL. As a result there are boxes in each room with outlets for TV, FM and data. The TV ones have a length of what I guess is...
