"Jonathan Buzzard" wrote in message ... Seems a perminant topic this, yet no matter how many times it is brought up, it is ignored. It is warning me that it is going to expire in three days, yet there is no updated version to...

New Pace Twin Upgrade Tonight by Java Jive
There appears to be a new Pace Twin Upgrade available tonight, even though I received one just a few days ago. The upgrade doesn't appear to be completing properly, and the Pace Freeview site is down. Anyone know what is going on? What is in this latest upgrade?

BBC squarial? by Bill
Discussion of the old BSB squarials elsewhere in this august group reminds me that at one stage everyone assumed that the BBC would run Britain's satellite TV service. Engineering Information got quite excited, in their laid back way. See http://www.wrightsaerials.tv/04012345BBCInfo.htm How...

Pace Twin Flash problem by Barry
Hi - I've tried 6 times tonight to upgrade the software on my Twin Pace box - all goes well until it starts flashing and after a minute or so the display flashes bad - after putting it into standby and on again it's OK but not updated. Anyone have any tips on how I might get this to work? Thanks!

Hi everyone Just a quick question about Freeview... I currently use a NTL cable box for TV, but I don't fancy upgrading to their digital service (I feel I already pay them enough each month!). However, I would like to get the Freeview channels. I've borrowed a friend's Freeview box and, although...

Hi I've just purchased a Pace Twin recorder (though looking through this forum tonight I wonder if I was wise!) and can't get delete services or BBCi even though on my old Nokia On Digital box it works fine. Does this mean it needs a firmware upgrade - I checked for upgrades via the menu but it...

Sky link interference from TV set by Bill
If you encounter one of those mysterious problems where the Sky link will not work, unaccountably and despite the red light coming on, try fitting a high pass filter between the link and the TV set. The Antiference TVI/U is such a device. Bill Where there is no television, the people perish. -...
