Poor signal - advice please by Chris Heys
I live in halls of residence (ground floor, opposite side of the building to where all the local aerials point) in Coventry and have a Hauppauge DEC-2000t digi box hooked up to my laptop. There is an aerial socket connected into my room, but digital reception is currently at about 12-15%. I bought...

Pace Twin Flash problem by Barry
Hi - I've tried 6 times tonight to upgrade the software on my Twin Pace box - all goes well until it starts flashing and after a minute or so the display flashes bad - after putting it into standby and on again it's OK but not updated. Anyone have any tips on how I might get this to work? Thanks!

Thomson 1500 Timer by Robert Tidey
I thought the v2.3/2.4 upgrade had sorted a the problem with setting up weekly timer recordings with this box as mine worked OK for a bit after the upgrade. However, it has now stopped working correctly. First it started adding on 6 days for the next event rather than a week. Now it's reverted to...

Rigger's diary - Confused? Well I am! by Bill
A customer rung this morning to say that he had a problem with 'ghosting'. In fact he had an image of the channel that he was watching, drifting about on the screen. It turned out that he had bought a DVD recorder and connected it via a scart lead. Without thinking too deeply about this (he rung at...

New Pace Twin Upgrade Tonight by Java Jive
There appears to be a new Pace Twin Upgrade available tonight, even though I received one just a few days ago. The upgrade doesn't appear to be completing properly, and the Pace Freeview site is down. Anyone know what is going on? What is in this latest upgrade?

re Technika Digi 200. by Peter Coddington
Gary Jones said seem to remember that there was an RF out socket on the back of this box. So to get analogue channels 1-5 on your TV, connect a normal UHF cable to your VR then from your VR to your TV. i.e. Aerial from roof - Technika2000 - Video - TV ----------- To clarify the answer to this...

Nokia Freeview boxes by Laurence Taylor
I have the old (On-digital) Nokia box. Is there any significant difference (such as firmware version) between this and the "reconditioned" silver-painted ones being sold by Dixons, and betwen either of those and the new handbag-shaped ones? Also, I've heard rumours of a firmware upgrade being...

Hi there, Please could someone with a Labgear DTT100 box and a ruler/tape measure please post the dimensions of the box - particularly the height? I have a smallish space between my kitchen TV and a shelf above it which I would ideally like to fit the box into, you see. Also, does it have...

masthead amp to cure interference? by Ben
Freeview reception is usually good using my loft antenna, but I get interference from things like washing machines switching. I assume this is being picked up by a poorly screened cable rather than the antenna itself, and therefore thought the best solution would be to fit a cable with better...

Is the Community Channel shared with another channel? by NealUK
I receive transmission from the Crystal Palace transmitter, and on the TV receiver (an old Nokia ITVdigital box), the Community channel has its own channel (46). With my AverMedia DVB-T card it doesn't appear. On this card, CBBC shares with BBC3 and Cbeebies shares with BBC4. Does anyone know if...
