Good Coax? by
Mat Overton
What kind of coax is good for preserving the signal from the aerial to the
freeview box? I'm still using the same stuff as fifteen years ago, which
makes me think I could be doing better. Can anyone recommend anything?
CT100 cable. Maplin do their own called FT100 at 99p per meter. It may...

If I cancel my Sky subscription, which I have had a few years, will I
still be able to get the free to air channels? I have read some

Weird behaviour of Panasonic IDTV? by
Simon Long
Hi All,
I've just bought a Panasonic TX32DT4 IDTV, which I am very pleased
with. I'm using it with a loft-mounted wideband aerial, and I get
strong signals on all channels (signal strength 9).
I have noticed one bit of strange behaviour. When you change channels
on the TV, the programme guide...

Which is the best Video Card to do TV-Out to a widescreen TV. by
Fik
I've had enough of forever having to spend big money on TV/Audio/Video
equipment.
Rather than go for an expensive DVDR/HDD recorder, I'm looking at building a
dedicated PC to live under the TV to handle all my TV watching, recording,
DVD and audio needs.
I've found what looks like the best tuner...

EPIA M10000 with Nebula DigiTV by
Mark
I'd be interested to know this as well as I plan to buy a Nebula for my
M10000. I wasn't aware that it was slow at MPEG2 decoding at the moment,
though :/
Do you find that your M10000 works well as a PVR come HTPC.
Is DVD playback ok? Is TV-Out picture any good?
Any thoughts would be great.

Crap Channels by
John
Why is the channel selection on Freeview crap ? Does anyone actually watch ,
Bid-up , Sky sport news , Travel shop , FTN , etc etc ?
Is the fact that we have such dire and repetitive (i.e . 2 pop music , 2
travel , 2 news 2 shop ) channels mean that SKY has sewn up all the
reasonable alternatives...

Can I get freeview by

I would like to be able to receive freeview and have done some
background research. First off the postcode checker says "not
available" however if I go to:

It shows several transmitters close by. The closest is Bluebell Hill
which according...

Help! No BBCi with subtitles on? by

Don't know if this is a bug in the Thomson software but I cannot get my

to 'Press Red' or 'Text' when on BBC channels if the Subtitles are switched
on. Although I can get to the text options using channel 51, you cannot...
