Question by Mr Pounder
Sky HD, not very old. Sometimes we just lose the satellite signal. Not always when it raining. Today is a clear day and it happened. Turn off at the plug, wait, turn back on and all is fine. All connections are okay. Is this a common problem or do I need to contact Sky?

Earthquakes & Snow by Turk182
I was just watching Sky News. The main story was Haiti; there were references to the numbers feared dead, logisistics, charity volunteers and the seemingly hopeless task ahead. Sky then switched immediately to the subject of severe snowfall in the North of England with pictures from the blocked...

Re HD BOX Problem by Deebrief
Have other uses experienced over the last 4 weeks a sudden loss of picture, going all green then returning in about 10 secs. This happens once a night at a different time. Is the box playing up, if so as it is less than a year old I hope Sky will replace it ??? Cheers

Burnt Viewing Card by Craig Coope
Hi, I have a Sky+ HD box (Amstrad) and just went to watch a film I recorded the other night and it asked me for my PIN. It must have been something to do with me attempting to watch it before the watershead because I've never been asked for my PIN before. Anyway I knew that the PIN should be the...

Sky HD scart/HDMi switching by Ed[_8_]
Bloke just installed, or rather, plugged in, my shiny new HD box. However, the 'Sky' button doesn't switch the TV to the HDMI connection as the old Sky+ box used to switch to the scart connection when you pressed it. Is this normal, or is there a setting that needs changing? It's very frustrating!
