Cheep Sky+ hard disc upgrade by
Les Preston
Aldi are selling off some Tevion 250 GB drives for £60, so I took a chance
and tried one in my Pace V2 box. Everything seems to work OK, although I
haven't nailed the lid down yet.
Like this the drive runs quite cool, although I may put another fan in
since the original Maxtor drive was extremely...

was done without a glitch. I'll have to try for a little longer when I

"There are no message alerts" by
Alan Truelove Jr.
The yellow button tells us about new messages from Sky.
Why are there never any? For example, the next OS release could be told
of via this method.

Recording "Other Channels" by
Big Al
Hi,
I am wanting to setup a recording on a regional news bulletin - ITV
Central - and I live in the ITV Yorkshire region.
I have added the channel as an "other" channel and can view it, but
obviously there is no advanced epg info - just the current programme.
Is there any way I can go to work and...

Recommendation for a cheap Sky digibox by
Dave
Hi guys,
I would like to get my parents a Sky digibox and dish and a FTV card,
so they can get widescreen broadcasts and the FTV channels (as they
have a widescreen TV and do not live in a Freeview area). As such, I
plan to buy a digibox and dish on ebay. The going rate seems to be
around =A330...

I'm having Sky+ installed Thursday and will be having my existing Panasonic

I realise that the additional box will also need to be connected to the
phone line, my question is, does the installer run this cable or is this up
to me to provide prior to...

What is new customer for Sky+? by
Broadback
I had sky installed 5 years ago, cancelled my subscription after 1 year
and since then have only used the "free" channels. Does that make me a
new customer as far as ordering a Sky+? Also would I be able to order
Sky+ as a new customer just paying the £10 per month Sky+ fee?

Help!!!!!!!! by
Peter
I have a Sky package that is costing me £44 a month, basically I am
subscribed to everything, it was part of the deal to get a free dish a
couple of years back.
I never really watch the movies or half the other crap that's on some of the
minority channels and reckon that I should be able to save...

Sky+ Part Rec - new feature? by
cqmman
Hello,
Over the past week or so, I have had quite a few programs only do a
"part rec" (so missing the start).
Has anyone else had this "feature" since the "upgrade"?
Cheers
