Satan and the Evil by
Acrux
The dialogue with you makes me fully aware of the origin and the
nature of some dreadful phenomena of the modern mentality: the
dissatisfaction, the uncertainty, the rebellion, the intimate
unhappiness of the contemporary human beings.
They have lost the deep, metaphysical sense of the existence,...

Sorry folks but I am puzzled about the HD option currently operating.
I have the full sky+ package at present = 43.50 pr month.
If I want to go HD with the existing programmes what can I expect to be the
new monthly charge?
I appreciate there is the cost of the HD box and a rip off charge to...

Sky+ copy by
PSmith[_2_]
When copying recorded programes from my sky+ box to my pc so that I can burn
them to DVD I use the sky+ "copy" button. But what is the difference in
using "copy" as opposed to simply playing the programme: either way my pc
captures the material.
regards,
Paul

Cheek! by
Turbohat
The sky movies rebrand was a way to save money (less channels, fewer hours
but the same subs)
Now comes another to annoy me.....
Soccer AM now on Sky1 and SkySports1! A good way to save 3 hours of
programming costs!

Best hard-drive for a Sky+ upgrade? by
Simon Finnigan
Hi all,
I`m looking to get a 250gig drive to upgrade my Sky+ box with. It`s an
Amstrad V3 box, currently with a 160gig drive in it.
I`ve seen the upgrade kits on ebay for £80, but when a 250 gig drive costs
£50 delivered I`m not too keen on paying £30 when the only thing missing is
knowing a good...

Setanta Premiership Footie by
Sean Black
Reading on another forum that Setanta will be charging £15 per month
(minimum 12 month contract) to get the Premiership football matches that
they will be showing.
The same amount of matches that you could watch on Sky for £50. Well
done to the EU for breaking up the monopoly then, which was...

Volume on Sky+ recordings from Sky Movies by
Dino M[_2_]
The volume of recordings from Sky Movies on my Sky+ box does seem rather
quiet, as I have to turn the TV volume up before I can hear it at a decent
level.
It has only been on a couple of films I have recorded recently but not from
any other channels.
Does anyone know if this was a couple of...

View Analogue Sky On Digital Tuner In A PC by
Port Admiral Haynes
I have a feed from my Sky box in the lounge to my PC in my study.
The feed comes via a coaxial cable from the second connector on the Sky box.
It used to go into an Hauppauge WinTV Express card on my PC and I controlled
it via a "Magic Eye". Worked very well indeed.
The problem is that the...

Catch up after pause live tv? by
Steve Folly
Hi,
I always thought I was just imagining this (maybe I still am...) but if I
pause live TV for a while then start watching it will the recording run
slightly faster than real time to catch up with live TV again?
I did this the other day after and I check the time difference occasionally
- it...

Losing the Sky+ £10 fee by
the kop king
Hello,
I am looking into either reducing my sky+ subscription to the minimum
package (around £15 I believe) or even cancelling altogether and making do
with the free channels.
I know if I do this I will lose my sky+ recording facility.
1. If I cancel altogether, can I still pay the £10 sky+...
