I was about to ask how do you get selected for the half price deal. I cancelled my subs two months ago and if offered would take them up on a half price deal. What is the deal they offer?

The modem in my 2 year old Sky+ box is not working - we were hit by lightening over the summer and the modem blew in my PC, so I guess that it may be the same problem. What's the easiest why to get Sky to fix it for free? Or can I buy a modem and self-fit? Thanks TT
