Sky+ is..... by Sonars UK
......FLIPPING MARVELLOUS!!! I had it installed yesterday and I am well impressed. As expected it works fantastic as a recorder - so hassle free. It's the other little features that change the way you live (is that a little strong?), such as the pause and rewind features. Also, being able to...

Bye Bye Sky - for good - FTA + FTV is well enough by oceanchemist
Bye Bye Sky - for good - FTA + FTV is well enough I'm 5/6ths tha way through a half price offer for "repeat movie" movieworld, but even at half price the sky packages are just not worth it. I'm throwing in the towel a month early. If they offered just ppv movies I'd be prepared to pay say £8 /...

Customer services Useless Now what?! by Jane
In June this year our 14 month old system ground to a halt, not from the box but the dish outside. An engineer was dispatched on the 2nd July who told us a tree in the garden was responsible and he would fit a new dish. We live in a long street that can get quite breezy when the wind picks up and...

A fashionable phrase orated by Clive Tyldsley by CU2946
"A knot of players" I've heard that phrase "A knot" used quite frequently of late. Isn't it funny how such phrases become fashionable and then dissolve into obscurity. Those of you that read current journals or academic books written over the past few years will no doubt be aware of other phrases...

Alias Nepotism by Pea Soup
As I can only get CH5 on SKY, this posting is relevant... It certainly pays to be nice to Ken Olin, EP on Alias, not only is his wife on screen, Lena, but also his son Cliff, and ex co-star from his on screen "30 Something" days, Patricia Wettig. Is this nepotism gone too far, does it beat Aaron...

Modem Problem, Sky+ by paddytt
The modem in my 2 year old Sky+ box is not working - we were hit by lightening over the summer and the modem blew in my PC, so I guess that it may be the same problem. What's the easiest why to get Sky to fix it for free? Or can I buy a modem and self-fit? Thanks TT
