Some questions re subscribing to the most basic Sky Value Pack
(£12.50) for one year if I may:
If I subscribe, will the dish, receiver, LNB, etc be provided free of
charge for me to keep as long as I like, irrespective of renewing the
sub? Or do I need to subscribe to a more expensive pack for...

Do Sky provide free replacement cards? by
Gibbers
Just persuaded my father-in-law to get digital satellite (he lives in
the middle of rural Perthshire and the signal he gets on terrestrial
is almost unwatchable). He only wants the FTA/FTV channels.
I currently subscribe to the full Sky package.
Could I simply call Sky and tell them my 2-year-old...

EPG by
Lee Steekvey
Appologies if this has been asked before or if it seems a stupid question !
What do the stars mean that are shown on some of the listings on the EPG
(tonight there are 3 stars following the description of Blade 2).
Cheers

mad
Further to the 'Sub questions' thread, I understand that when ordering
Sky (presumably via the online order form - I'll be using the £1
Installation Offer) it's possible to express a preference for a
particular type of Digibox.
Does anyone here have any recommendations for a good box please,...

Sky+ Offer to waive £10 monthly fee by
Julian
I noticed in my Sky magazine that Sky do appear to have answered
the question that a lot of us have been asking, i.e. if Sky waive the
fee for Sky+ for people with 2 or more premium channels, then
what happens on November 1st when Sky Movies Premier and
Sky Movies Max are re-branded as Sky Movies?...

Sky+ Disk Usage by
usenet.plus.net
Set says that I only have 19% of disk free. But, doubting this, I looked
at the yellow disk usage bar at the top of the Sky+ screen and found
that the most recent prog I recorded only took the disk usage to approx.
50%. Never noticed that before - and not sure if it matters.
Any...

Brendan DJ Murphy
Was watching a movie-channel earlier between two movies.
They showed a preview for tomorrow's Premiership+ Game Charlton v Arsenal.
There was a dreadful noise coming from my surround-sound system and the TV speakers.
After the preview, the sound returned to normal.

Record two channels at once by
John Dobson
Hi,
The SKY+ web site says that recording two channels simultaneously is 'coming
soon' - does anybody have an idea when.
Is there a way to pause, rewind and replay live action whilst recording
another channel - or is this related to the point above.
John
