Sky+ Dolby Digital fault?? by Russell Fray
I got Sky+ installed last week. Really happy with it apart from a problem with Dolby Digital. If a program is being transmitted in DD then it takes about a minute for the amp to pick up the DD signal. Is my box faulty? I thought it was my amp so I went out and bought a new Sony Receiver......

Ta-ta, $ky. by Clem Dye
Well, after being a $ky customer since the dark distant days of BSB, I finally cancelled by $ky subscription today - I will be without the delights of red dots, incessant ad. breaks, trailers, endless repeats, the $ky magazine and other such dross sometime on 29/11/03. I'm sure that I'll get...

Tonight I tried to watch Queen of the Dammed (Sky Movies 1, 10:00pm). It was transmitted in Dolby Digital, though I don't use this as I connect to my TV using S-Video and Stero RCA audio. Throughout the film, I kept losing sound. Sometimes it would just disappear for a second, but at other it...

Tying up Sky+ by spamless
Am I correct in assuming that when copying from hard drive to VCR I am allowed to watch any other program that is on the hard drive while this copy function is working, but what I am not allowed to do is use the copy function and watch any another sky channel, so if you use the copy function and do...

277 Gamenation - WTF!? by Lewis
OK, just flicked on to nation 277's Flipside. 4 people sat around a TV with Sky remotes flicking around the numbers and talking about what's on other channels. They are basically encouraging people to tune away and watch other channels! No microphone control either, lots of loud coughing and you...

SKY News turning into radio show by Frosty the Snowman
SKY News has just shown IDS talking about Confidence vote, I estimate that just before, in the run up, approx only 30% of the screen was actually the camera shot, the rest was filled up with ticker, Newsflash caption, time, "Live", red dot, etc. If this carries on, SKY News will soon be showing no...
