RE The Abyss,Midnight showing by
CG
If Sky are censoring movies,I will most definitely be getting rid.I watched
Lethal Weapon and they cut out one of the best bits too,in fact it was the
finest bit of acting Mel Gibson has ever done, the part were he put the gun
in his mouth when he tries to end it all.
If anyone else notices any...

Alternatives to Sky+ ? by
Bill Godfrey
Hiya. I've just bought a house and it came with a Sky disk attached, but no
Sky box.
I'm considering getting Sky+ for it. But I'd like to avoid paying an extra
£10 a month, so I'm considering alternatives too. (See the recent thread
for debate on the merits of this charge.)
Unless I'm very much...

Hiya,
Does anyone know if there are any hebrew / Jewish or Israeli channels , or
if there's any plans to bring any to Sky Digital?
Also is there any way at all to pick up these channels using a regular
system ? (Not Arabic channels please , hebrew)

Cheapest way to keep Sky+ by
Sonars_UK
Hi,
I've had Sky+ now for around a year now and I REALLY LOVE IT!!!
I've got a couple of babies and rarely view any sport of movies anymore. My
Sky+ planner is full of terrestrial tv such as BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel four
AND a few bits on Sky One.
As I see it I am paying £41 per month just to...

The Abyss, Midnight showing by
Delmar
I recorded the Abyss (midnight sky movies 2) last night using my new Sky+
box, at the point where the diver puts the Rat into the special underwater
breathing fluid, my picture changed to views outside the sub but the sound
kept playing what should have been on screen.
Was this a glitch with my new...

Can installers offer free installation? by
Julian
I'm slowly moving forward with getting Sky+ 160 and now I'm trying to
get the box with free installation. I just went into my local Dixons and the
only offer they have is that if I am subscribed to the top package for 12
months then installation is free.
Can independent installers realistically...

Getting a FTA card by
JohnW
I've had a Sky+ box for a year now so I've fulfilled my side of the deal.
I've got my old box up in the loft.
If I wire up my old box and put my card in it it will work.
If I get my girlfriend to open a new sub for Sky+ I can then cancel my sub.
I can then cancel my sub and get FTA channels on...

When's the Sky freeview card coming out? by
Baroness Edwina Frogbucket
I rang Sky to double-check, and if I *do* cancel my subscription, I'll
definitely lose ITV, ch4 and 5. As I only have the sub because my reception
is so bad, I'd much prefer to just pay once for a card.
I wish they'd just hurry up and bring it out.
