Getting out of multi-room contract by
mocha
Hi,
I signed up to sky+ about 6 months ago and had multi-room installed and
found that I barely use it and was wondering if there was anyway out of it
as I think the minimum time with it is 12 months.
Read the small print, just wondering if anyone knows if you can get out of
it, would save a...

Widescreen on Sky by
Ed
Grump grump grump
Why is the Australia v West Indies in widescreen some days and square
the next? Is this just laziness on behalf of Sky?
The broadcast keeps advertising it is available in widescreen. Also,
why cant they get a clean feed from Channel Nine, rather than very
pathetically blurring...

Returning to Sky by
Dave
I left Sky a while back - got bored with the same old stuff.
I'm now thinking of subscribing again, this time to Sky+
Still have the old dish and box, but I want a new dish along with the
Sky+ box (the old dish was always a bit dodgy).
What are my options? Will I have to buy the equipment or can...

sky + multiroom by
homer
we are thinking of getting sky + downstairs and moving the digibox upstairs.
There are no telephone sockets in the proposed sky + room and the room we
want the digibox in, has a phone extension from the next room along
connected to an ADSL broadband modem (and PC).
Will this set up prevent us from...

Is any one experiencing sound problems on ITV1 over the past week. It's
like a second of slury sound every 30-45 secs?

RTE in London by
SteveB
I'm from Northern Ireland and am currently living in London - I can,
via Sky Digital, receive BBC1 NI, BBC2 NI and UTV (ITV NI). I've
entered the details for the Republic of Ireland's RTE1 and RTE2
(10744H SR 22000, FEC 5/6) and can see the current/next programme(s),
but the message I get says...

Why I hate Sky by
Roobarb
So I got Sky back in for the cricket thanks to their half price offer.
Wonderful, watched loads of the cricket over the weekend whilst also
entertaining the kids.
But now my evenings are a nightmare, as on the basis that I watched
cricket for 5 hours, the wife has now stolen the remote and...

AAAAAAAAARRRRGGHHH! by
Charlie Pearce
Before leaving for work today at about 08:15 I started recording the
Pakistan v England Test cricket, so I could carry on watching the
England innings when I came home. I switched channels to clear the
rewind buffer, and had about 15% free space on my disc, so didn't have
any concerns about...

BBC3 by
Owen
Given that neither BBC1 or BBC2 feel the need to display their logo
constantly, why does BBC3?
And if they must, why do it in a distracting, bright white colour several
inches in from the edge of the screen?
Why do they insist on having an ITV-style "COMING UP NEXT" banner just in
the most...
