Sky World & Family Pack - questions by
starman
Sorry to cross-post this - I meant to put it here but put it in 'tech'
originally by mistake.
Anyway.
As a means of getting a 'cheap' installation and 'free' kit I was
thinking of going for the online offer of the Sky World & Family Pack
(£1 install, 'free' kit, £38 per month).
Is this classed...

Reminders don't pop up (Sky+) by
Stan The Man
Had my Sky+ installation for a month and for some reasons my reminders
have stopped working. I guess I don't expect them to work when I'm
watching a recording but they don't work when I'm watching live either.
Any clues? TIA.

Sky+ - "Not Locked" by
Andrew Corcoran
I know this is near-enough a "Frequently Asked Question", but I'm nearing
the end of my tether as it is looking as though we'll be calling for a sixth
engineer very soon, and I could do with the group's intellect to know the
best way to bully him when he arrives. :-)
Here's the low-down,...

Sky+ video interference by
Stan The Man
Since installing Sky+ a month ago, I am enduring too many video
glitches - maybe one every 5-10mins. They are worse when something is
being recorded - and they aren't so prevalent on a standard Sky Digital
receiver which is fed from the same dish (3 LLBs). Is this a known
problem? I rang Sky and...

Hi,
A lot of people will already know this... but for those of you that don't.
If you order Sky+ over the phone - installation will cost £50.
If you order Sky+ online (www.sky.com) - installation will cost £1.
