Sky + as satelite broadband by
martyn lewis
Am I right in thinking by upgrading to sky + the quad lnb that you get would
then allow me to have sky +, an additional box upstairs leaving a spare
outlet to run satellite broadband. I have seen sites quoting £140 to enable
this. I know it is download only but broadband wont be around my area...

Activation of new ftv card by
Peter Wölzl
Hi,
Friends from the U.K. called the free2view service and had a new card sent,
which they have now sent on to me in Germany for use in my Grundig digibox.
The card doesn't work because it seems to need activation.
I intend calling the free2view No. 0870 054 1800, suppressing the identity

James
Hello,
I've been lurking in uk.media.tv.sky for many weeks now and thought it =
time to speak up.
Though speaking up is not going to be easy with all the small minded, =
ego maniacal, loud mouthed losers that there are in this group. You know =

I suppose I should...

I share a birthday with SKY by
Matthew Keys
Hello all,
Just like to wish a happy birthday to SKY. My birthday is on 5-Feb and I
was born in 1987, which probably explains my fascination with SKY, so happy
17th to me, and happy 15th to SKY! Here's hoping I grow with SKY and
vice-versa.
Cheers!
Matthew

Sky - cheapest option? by
phil
My only interest in getting a Sky satellite dish and digibox is to be
able to select which local channel I wish to receive (I currently live
in Wales so cannot get C4 or BBC West for example, instead I get the
Welsh equivalenta, ie S4C, BBC Wales, etc).
What is currently the cheapest Sky...

Sky TV in Norway by
Pól Patience
I've been told that I can happily use my SKY box in Norway but will probably
need a bigger dish.
That not a problem, what is bothering me is that I have never installed a
dish before and have no idea as to elevation etc or what satellite I would
need to use.
Any help greatly appreciated...
